2015 season honours
The 2015 Season has now finished, bringing to an end the 26th season of
the League. The honours board for 2015 is as follows:

Congratulations to all the above teams, and for all teams who have
contributed to another successful season of the Victoria Park Community
Cricket League.

ECB player survey
The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) is calling on
recreational players to have their say and influence the future of the
sport at grassroots level in its third annual National Cricket Playing
Survey. Click on the picture or
this link to take part in the survey
Every player, from Premier League cricketers to the occasional Sunday
friendly player, is being urged to have their say on all aspects of the
recreational game. Last year more than 37,000 current and former players
nationwide responded to the survey.

Parking changes at Victoria Park
Parking restrictions have been extended to 6:30 pm on Victoria Park Road to the east of Queen's Gate (the entrance by the People's Park Tavern) and on adjoining roads, including Gascoyne, Harrowgate and Christie Road (Zone Q). There are no restrictions after 5 pm on Victoria Park to the west of Queen's Gate (Zone P). On the south side of the park the parking restrictions end at 5.30 pm.

Committee Adjudication 15 May 2015 - message from League Secretary Gary Horsman
Please note that a league team has been deducted points (one point in
each of the two stages of this season) for a violation of the guest
player rule:-
League Rule 5: Any player who plays for a League side and plays (as a
'guest') for another team will not be able to bowl and cannot bat higher
than No 5 (for his 'guest' team).
Over the years, the committee has worked hard to impress this rule on
all members, probably more so than any other rule; so please do remind
yourselves of the above guest player rule, and ensure you check the
eligibility of any guest players before games.

How to submit results
To enter results team adminstrators should click on the CricHQ logo to log in - then choose Admin, then Clubs; click on your team name and then choose Schedule and select the match (you may have to extend the date range to find the game). You can either enter a basic score (headline scores plus overs) or a full scorecard - which will create statistics for each player. Each team has been allocated team adminstrators and can create additional adminstrators if they wish.
For help on CricHQ try their detailed help pages here... If you have further queries about adminstration or scoring, contact Results Secretary Firoz Husain.
For full scorecards you will need to make sure all your players are in the system - add players in CricHQ by going to Admin, then Clubs, choose your team and then select Players and click on the orange triangle on the right to add each new player. Once you have added new players you should put each one in the team squad - select Team, type the new player's name and when it comes up, click on it to select it.
