Rose & Crown lost the toss and were put into bat
Rose & Crown: 176 for 2 in 16 overs
Pat Heaphy 50 not out
Matthew Hick 35 not out
Alan Hick 28 not out
Bengal Tigers: 115 for 7 in 15 overs
Cook 57 not out
Sean 4-0-17-4
Having lost the toss, Rose and Crown were put into bat and looked
momentarily in trouble with the loss of two early wickets.
However, the run rate was always steady and through strong
partnerships between Pat and Matthew, later followed by Matthew and Alan,
they were able to accelerate to their highest total of the season 176 for 2.
Despite an impressive innings from Cook of the Bengal Tigers, Rose and
Crown were able to limit scoring at the opposite end.
Special mention going to Sean Feeney, who crowned off a solid
performance with a 4 for.
