London Tigers' 100% record was ended by an upbeat Cally's outfit.
The Tigers won the toss and elected to bat with the ground damp
underfoot, the bowlers struggled to find thier footing and Cally's conceded
plenty of early wides and no balls.
Tigers scored well all the way through thier innings, but a
devastating death over from Nadeem, 2 runs for 2 wickets, meant the Tigers
were restricted 143.
With the big Pitch 3 boundaries this was a very challenging total.
Mohammed Nadeem and Anser Mahmood Opened with a partnership of 78 off
9 overs to get the Call'ys off to a good start. London Tigers suffered early
on with a wet ball- dropping 3 catches.
However, Tigers persevered and they were gifted 3 run outs and were
back in the hunt. Cally's enigmatic Amir Khan was in good form keeping up
with the run rate.
Mohammed Shakoor carried on his good form and ended the last over with
a boundary seeing the Cally's home with 5 balls to spare.
