Old Fallopians made a solid start and were cruising making 30 for no
wicket off the first 4 overs. A toe crushing Yorker from Mohammed Bilal at
Fallopians skipper Jonathan Stebbins was the catalyst for the change in the fortunes of
the Fallopians. Stebbins went off retired hurt and from then the Fallopians
Innings never quite recovered. Mohammed Bilal also took his first wicket on
his Cally's debut.
Waqar Ali came into the attack and took 2 quick wickets in his 2 overs.
Caledonian Conquerers Skipper Saj Rehman brought himself into the attack and
duly carried on from his last game taking 3 wickets in 10 deliveries.
Fallopians were bowled out for a below par 62.
Caledonian Conquerers batsmen decided to use the low target as batting
practice and thier compalency and lack of finishing was duly punished by the
Old Fallopians bowlers who took a respectable 3 wickets bearing in mind they
were defending a low total.
Amir Khan looked in good early season form dispatching 20 off 1 over.
Caledonian Conquerers finally completed the run chase inside 12 overs.
