A challenging opening fixture to commence the season for the Cally's.
Cally's took to the field with only 7 players available. London Wanderers
batted first and commenced the innings at a bliztering pace, taking 47 runs
off the first 4 overs. But the run rate was slowed by Richard and Saj
restricting the Wanderers' to a respectable 121 on their first outing. Some
superb fielding and catching from Cally's prevented the LW from a mammmoth
total. Cally's batted well, with some attractive stroke play from Baz and
attacking shots from Ali. Wickets were falling all the way through but the
target was reached with 10 balls to spare.
