Chats Palace and Victoria Lounge signalled
the end to their seasons with a pleasant match, having played against each
other in the league for almost twenty years. Victoria Lounge batted
formidably, albeit helped by a very large 'wides' column.
However, Chats Palace kept to their task and, if
one of their strike batsmen had been able to support Lawrence Hutchinson,
they might have been able to pull off a victory.
