Chats Palace never recovered from a brilliant open spell by Wrong Un's
C.Parker, who brilliantly used the conditions of the ball and pitch (the
orange ball and pitch 3 is not a great combination).
His opening four balls, described by Chats Captain as the best he has ever
faced, bowled left arm round the wicket and swinging in extravagantly, set
the tone, and Chats Palace were never able to impose themselves.
Despite giving away numerous wides, Chats actually hauled themselves back
into the match with the ball, but Wrong Uns' penultimate wicket achieved the
20 runs required for victory with few scares.
Chats Palace might have actually won if a couple of sharp chances had been
held onto, but Wrong Uns were the best team on the night and were worthy
winners.
