Junoon faced Tower Cavaliers on pitch no.2, and after winning toss,
decided to have a bat. The openers Sunny and Faiz, did very well to make an
impression on the scorecard, and bondaries were flourishing in all areas of
the field.
The middle order did stumble a bit and wickets started to fall as
Tower Cavaliers were determined to slow down the excessive run rate. Finally
Junoon finished on 127 off 15 overs, slightly less than anticipated.
Tower Cavaliers made a cracking start in the first over, and Junoon knew
they had to create the spirit on th efield which won them their last game.
The fielding was on point as catches were taken, 5 in total!
A special mention for Ash Molvi who took a couple of brilliant catches
which turned the game around for Junoon. The pressure was building for Tower
Cavaliers as the run rate was low, and finally they needed 16 off the last
over, managing only 5 with good bowling by Abs Molvi.
A brilliant battle between these two teams, and Junoon came out on
tops with their brilliant display of catches and tight bowling to defend
quite a low score. Well done to both teams for playing in the spirit of the
game.
