Pat Heaphy 41
Glossop 3-0-21-1
Chats Palace: 80 for 7 in 12.3 overs

Dave Monaghan 4-0-19-3
Krishna 4-0-28-2
Sean Feeney 2.3-0-13-1
Rose and Crown chose to bat first and from the outset scored freely and
quickly. Paul Feeney retired 53 not out and Pat Heaphy scored an explosive
41. The total may have been greater but for Glossop of Chats who bowled well
at the end of the innings.
Rose and Crown put in another good performance in the field with an
accurate spell of bowling from Dave Monaghan which earned him three wickets
and curtailed the Chats Palace already difficult run chase. The match was
played in good spirit by both teams amidst the din from Pitch 2.
