On cold and grey Friday evening, Junoon faced Bengal Tigers in another
qualifying round. It was a must-win for Junoon as they had previously lost
the first round. The overs were reduced to 12 as late arrivals occurred and
light was deteriorating quite rapidly.
Junoon made 96 in their allocated 12 overs, and knew that tight
bowling was the only way to secure the win. They were right, bowling was on
point, and restricted the Bengal Tigers batsmen to make any big scores witha
high strike rate.
Junoon finally won the game by 13 runs, and even though it was only a
12 over match, it was played in good spirits - Firoz Husain of Junoon.
