This was a thrilling game that went all the way to the wire and ended in a
great cup upset for the Mad Marrocas, defeating a division one side for only
their 2nd win of the season.
A good bowling performance by the Mad Marrocas restricted London Fields to
119, with only W. Isaac making a sizable contribution with a great knock of
52 as opening batsmen.
All four bowlers put great pressure on the batsmen, with special mention to
Seth, who took 3 wickets and almost a hat-trick.
The chase was on, but the Mad Marrocas started off slow until some fine
boundary making from both Charlie and Dominic.
However, they were both soon out, which set up a tense finale.
Needing 7 off the last over, Captain Fantastic (me) stepped up and hit a
boundary off the first ball and saw it home for a great victory.
