The final league game for the 2012 season proved to be a success for Junoon yet again. After winning the toss Begal Tigers selected to bat first and so Junoon had the new ball in their hands, something of a regular occurrence in this season.

Bengal Tigers started off defiantly but then skipper Firoz picked up the first wicket, and a big one too. Caught by Dani , he was on his way to be the catcher of the day was he took another 2 catches which followed soon after.

Ash was given the ball and he majestically took 4 wickets in quick succession to finish the innings of Bengal Tigers.

Junoon started to bat with a target of only 80 to chase and were quite confident in doing so with ease, but the Bengal bowlers were putting up a brave fight as wickets started to tumble in regular succession.

The middle order comprising of Riz and Firoz stabilised it to an extent until Fitoz was caught at deep gully only to bring in Hassan, a no nonsense batsman. Riz and Hassan made it their cause to complete the victory and give a Junoon a high possibility to be runners up for Div 2.

A good match played under good weather conditions, surprisingly.
