Homerton: 86 for 6 in 13.2 overs
Tahweed: 87 for 1 in 16 overs
Mohammed Nadeem 48 Not out
Arshad Ali 29
Omar Khan 5
Tawheed won this game comfortably, although Nadeem waited till the last ball
of the game to hit the winning run.
He was trying to get a boundary for the last three overs of the
innings to get his 50, Gifting homerton a maiden in their 13th over. Instead
he was made to settle for 48 not out.
Homerton had earlier struggled to find the boundaries and made 86 all
out, although they were disadvantaged with only 7 players in the team.
Tawheed won comfortably and canterred to victory and can expect more
of the same, as thier fate was sealed earlier by their opening day defeat to
Island Community.
Tawheed will be playing 2nd division cricket for the first time in
many seasons. No less than what they deserve for the abject performance on
the opening day.
