Stoke Newintgon put the Fallopians in and with Williams and particularly
Walsh, off his short run up, bowling with real aggression and pace.
After 4 overs Falllopians could only muster 12 runs with Walsh picking
up the wicket of Ellis with the score on 4. Linde opened up a bit and once
the opening bowlers were taken off the runs came more easily. Most through
wides and no balls.
Asquith was bowled by a beauty by Waheed Ullah in his firs over with
the score on 69. This brought in Barrass. The two kept the scoreboard
ticking before the return of Walsh and Willimas.
Linde was bowled by Walsh and as the pressure to score mounted there
were two run outs.
Stoke Newington started on a flier! The first over going for 14, the
next 9. the third 8 and the 4th 15 meaning that after four overs the score
was 48 nearly half way there.
Ali picked singles and rotated the strike for Andre Samuel who was
taking the bowling apart. The first wicket went on 77. Williams came in and
Samuel eventually retired on 50. Waheed Ullah coming in with only 10 to get.
A very comfortable win.
