Wrong'uns: 84 for 4 in 12 overs
Matt Incledon 30
Luke 22
D Gearing (I think - wore a to with yellow flashes) 4-0-21-4
late start (Thurs game) so reduced to 14 overs. Did away with the toss as we
were 8 while Pumas were still waiting on a couple, so we took to the field.
Great start by the Pumas (off my bowling, grrr), they were 31-0 after 3
overs, with B Gearing batting aggressively throughout the innings.
We started to chip away at the other end though and finally got the
main run scorer out 4 short of the half ton, his being the final wicket to
fall with the last ball of the 12th over.
We made a solid start, but were more about accumulation than annihilation.
We were 2 runs short of being exactly half way after 7 overs.
Lost a couple of wickets trying to make the game safe, but Matt
Incledon came in and produced a series of boundaries to take the game
effectively beyond the Pumas, who battled to the end. Got past the post with
12 balls and 3 wickets to spare.
Thanks for the game, which was played in great spirits, good luck with
future games.
