Junoon won the toss and opted to have a bat first. A fine opening from
Amir and skipper Firoz saw a steady run rate. Amir lost his wicket just 2
runs short of another half century.
Old Fallopians staged a little comeback here with a few more quick wickets
falling. Step in reserve player Riz, who showed little signs of patience to
be at the crease, and also had no sympathy for the bowlers by blasting his
way to 53 with a flurry of 6's and 4's.
Junoon finally finished on 164 for 4. Old Fallopians tried hard in opening
their batting with a good run rate, but the opening bowlers Nomy and Arslan,
were bowling excellent line and length and finished with 5 wickets between
them after 8 overs.
The writing was on the wall by then, and the batsmen struggled to play any
big shots due to decent bowling by Junoon. Overall, a good game played in
the right spirits, and Junoon went home with another victory under their
belt.
Well done to both teams and good luck for the future.
