"After reading with disbelief last week's score when Sky dismissed Tower
Cavaliers for 2 runs Tower Ravens weren't sure what to expect from this
game.
From the start the Cavaliers batted conservatively appearing to look
happy to post a respectable total. After the dismissal of the big hitting
opening batsman Al the innings never really got going although the
scoreboard was kept ticking over.
Wickets were also slow to come as the Ravens put in a lacklustre
bowling and fielding performance.
Finally the Cavaliers closed on 102-3.
In reply the Cavaliers bowled well but just did not have enough runs on the
board as the Ravens crept over the finishing line with a couple of overs to
spare.
All that was left was to retire to the pub and ponder how the cricketing
gods see us facing our toughest game of the season verses Sky on Monday with
two of the team's star players departing for Antartica on a polar bear and
seal watching expedition.
Guys we don't know why Antartica but have a great time!"- Michael
