Tower Ravens beat London Fields by 10 runs Tower Ravens 158-2 from
14 overs
Ken Willock 50 retired
Dennis 53 retired
London Fields 148-4 from 14 overs
left handed wicket keeper 52 retired
Will 51 retired
Match reduced to 14 overs following the late arrival of half of London
Fields team due to the traffic chaos caused by the Radiohead concert.
London Fields forfeited the toss and were asked to field.
The Ravens obtained a small measure of revenge for their opening day loss
(collapse!) to local rivals London Fields in the North East London Cricket
League. Both teams and particulary the four retiring batsmen batted
extremely well and bowled not so well! With 21 runs off the final over
London Fields fell just short of what would have been an excellent run chase
as the incoming batsmen could not replicate the big hitting of the excellent
Will who thankfully retired the over before.
