The Loungers needed to win to take the outright title. N&C got to 100 in the
11th over but were restricted to 131 off 16 as the Lounge held practically
every chance along the way.
N&C's opening bowler plugged away with no luck against the Lounge openers
James and Greg, each of whom gave a regulation edge behind. Both openers
Lounged their way to unbeaten 50s.
By the 14th a seven wicket victory was complete and the Lounge celebrated
their first divisional title since 1995. |
