Rose & Crown won by default

Sorry to say we had to abandon our game with Rose & Crown.
Like most skippers I had struggled that night to get a full team ... England
game world cup etc, but I finally sorted out a team with 2 juniors, until
5.00pm that was, the first cancellation call then 6.50 the second, so at
that stage we only had 3 people.
So it was over to the Rose who opted to take their points and go and watch
the football.
Two more of my guys arrived but it was too late by then.
I am very disappointed - it's never happened before under my captaincy of
the Callys ... apologies all round. |
