Jamal Ahmad of Mola Jutt writes: The wicket had a demon in it, that's for sure. Mola Jutt started off dismally loosing three wickets inside the first five overs.Whatever aspirations we had for a high score were gone. Only Saleem (30) stayed at the wickets while they kept tumbling like ninepins on the other end. It was some good bowling aided with a damp wicket that got most of our batsman out caught behind. I haven't seen a sub seventy-five total being defended at Victoria Park, but looking at the performance of the track we knew we had a glimmer of hope.Rose & Crown started off cautiously and went for preservation rather than attack. Naz took the first wicket in the fourth over and it was all down hill for Rose & Crown after that. Wickets started falling regularly as Shakeel (3 for ??) and Imran (3 for ??) displayed some very decent line and length. The fielders had an easy day at the office as six of the seven wickets were clean bowled. Ian (19) hung around for a while but it all came to an end in the final over with Imran claiming his third victim as Saleem (keeper) took a skier. An excellent performance on a day that undoubtedly belonged to the bowlers.
